Palaeoscolecids are a group of extinct worms that resemble priapulids (A phylum of unsegmented marine worms). They are characterized by having a ring-like trunk ornamented with circular patterns of phosphatic plates with no spaces in between. They have a layered cuticle. and an armoured proboscis.
This specimen is loosely coiled. It has a well preserved trunk, the circular patterns being clearly visible. Uncoiled it would be approximately 30.00 mm
