It all came about because…

I founded fossil soup in 2021 to satisfy a lifelong love of geology and the natural world. I was born in England and studied geology. Later I worked in geophysics before moving to the United States and changing careers to work in virtualization for a technology company.

Fossil collecting has been a passion and recently, closer to retirement, I decided to open an online store offering quality fossils to a new generation of enthusiasts as well as the established community.

Well! There are many online fossil stores that have served, and continue to serve, the demand for fossils. The diversity of material on offer is expansive and the quality good. So, why start yet another online store for fossils?
