Additional Information
The trilobites of the Haragan Formation in Oklahoma are very similar to those found in the Devonian deposits of Morocco more than 5000 miles away. During the Devonian period about 420 million years ago both localities were on a similar equatorial plane. The rocks of the Haragan and Bois d'Arc formations are part of the Hunton Group that consists of carbonate limestone deposits.
